The PaperWhimsy Art Group is the venue for a magnificent project hosted by Carol Stocker (see my post from yesterday).
Carol is not only a phenomenal teaser - she's been posting teaser photos and clues for the last several days in the forum - she is also an inspired artist. Using Annette Emms' wonderful fairy slipper pattern Carol is hosting a 1/1 project - make a pair get a pair - of these awesome magical teeny tiny shoes.

Not only are you getting a wonderful original work of art for your efforts, there is also a prize involved. Annette Emms herself is judging the submissions for Best of Show and the winner receives a copy of the Embroiderer's Guild magazine, Stitch, which had a fantastic article featuring Annette's slippers.
So, artists, if you're interested in stretching your mixed media wings and jumping into this project with both fairy-slippered feet, then mosey on over to the PaperWhimsy Art Group forum and sign up (or register and *then* sign up if you're not already a member).
This project is limited to 18 participants and the spots are going quickly. If you don't make it in time for this project, we have another project currently taking sign-ups: Every Girl Needs a Crown that also includes a prize for Best of Show - $50+ worth of crown fixin's from the PaperWhimsy shoppe. Other projects are in the works and will be opening soon in the PaperWhimsy Art Group forum.
Be there or be square! (Not to mention slipperless).
